Today’s adventure was to Seven Star Park. I didn’t find a lot of information about it except that the park also hosted a zoo, cave, and theme park for an additional charge. So, I thought that it was a park. We could head over there, grab some lunch to go, and eat in the grass. As per usual in China, I was wrong.
I think I would vote breakfast as the most fun meal of the day. It consists of a collection of steam buns and dumplings, a hard boiled egg, and a drink.
I practically ran home. I couldn’t wait to tell him about my adventure. It was the most awe inspiring thing I have seen since Saint Peter’s Basilica.
I really enjoy hot pot, but it is an overwhelming process when doing it in a foreign language with different foods. Thankfully, we found the perfect solution yesterday: hot pot conveyor belts!
This will be our home for the rest of the month while Josh continues his writing and I explore the amazing karst topography and quirky shops.
Moving is never easy, especially when moving to a new country that is so vastly different from my own. It is not fun to admit, but the last few days have been hard. Really hard. But we both woke up on Saturday feeling inspired.
